This literature review includes recent national and international
articles leading to an understanding of the Te Ariki Trust's four values
and signal where further work is needed to help school leaders make sense of the
complex issues they encounter daily in New Zealand schools. It provides a
repository which can be consulted by those wishing to build on the work begun
by the late David Stewart.
The purpose of this resource is to assist principals to connect The New Zealand Curriculum with their school curriculum – by review, development, or alignment.
